Drapër i vdekjes po korr jetë,
në çdo cep të Shqipërisë,
vdekja është bërë në të vërtetë,
si zoti i shtëpisë!
Shumë rrallë Bota ka jetuar,
kohë kaq shumë të zeza,
se më të zotët-më të mirët,
kanë shkuar në varreza!
Kam frikë të nis-të numëroj,
të gjithë ç’na kanë ikur,
kjo Pandemi globin e bloi,
sa zjarre që ka fikur!
Një zjarr është baraz me një jetë,
një jetë njerëzore,
Globi gjëmon në të vërtetë,
nga klithma botërore!
Në këtë Ferr që po jetojmë,
vdiq edhe mirësia,
dhe tok me të ne po shikojmë,
si vdiq dhe dashuria!
Idealistët panë vërtetë,
mizerjen dhe zhgënjimin,
njohu sërish Bota e Tretë,
përbuzjen dhe harrimin!
Një prrallë u bë solidariteti,
prrallë e asgjë më shumë,
dhe duart lart do t’i ngrejë shteti,
kur parja s’rrjedh si lumë!
Në djepe gjarpërinjsh është tundur,
kush sheh vetëm fitimin,
kjo Botë me kohë e ka humbur,
dhe shpresën dhe besimin!
Më thotë një zë nga errrësira,
mos shkruaj më-o qyq,
Covidi-Botës-ligësitë,
ja nxorri lakuriq!
Miliona që kanë humbur jetën,
janë shkruar në defter,
po gjer më sot vdekja s’ka marrë,
asnjë milionier!
