Pic shows: The Husky wearing the Apple Watch. The son of China’s richest man has been flaunting his riches on social media once again, this time buying new Apple products for his pet Husky to wear. Wang Sicong, the 27-year-old son of China’s richest man, gave his dog, known as Wang Keke, two Apple Watches to wear on each of her front legs while at their residence in China’s metropolis Shanghai. Sicong, who even used the watches to test Keke’s heart rate, wrote in the photos: "Hehe more new watches. I wanted to wear four watches – one on each leg – but later thought that it was too much boasting, so two will do. Two is the minimum, though, otherwise it would be unbefitting of my status. One question comes to mind: Do you have one?" The photos were posted on a Weibo account created by his staff specifically for the Husky. Sicong is the only son of 60-year-old Wang Jianlin, China’s richest man and CEO of Dalian Wanda Group Corporation Limited – a Chinese conglomerate that is the country’s largest private property developer. The young man has frequently come under fire in China with state news agency Xinhua saying Wang "recklessly disseminates vulgar information … from the worship of money to sex and violence". When Wang republished Xinhua's attacks on his highly popular Weibo social media account, he won online support, with many arguing that Xinhua had overreacted to lighthearted comments. However, the news agency has refused to back down, expanding its attack on Wang as a decadent elitist. The row comes amid a crackdown on sexually suggestive material by Chinese authorities. (ends)
