Pic shows: The father ans son with a gun.nnThis video of a proud Turkish dad teaching his son how to shoot a handgun has caused heated debate online.nnThe proud dad, who was only identified in local media by his initials F.B., said to the child as he gave him the gun: "Come on, show me that you are your father¿s son".nnThe incident is believed to have taken place on the outskirts of Korfez, a town in Turkey¿s north-western region of Marmara.nnThe footage shows the delighted dad giving the silver handgun to the little boy to teach him how to shoot.nnHe first loads the gun and then hands it to the child, who appears not to realise that he is holding a dangerous weapon.nnThe father then instructs him to hold the gun with both of his hands and the boy, who looks no more than five years old, then slowly raises the firearm before blasting off five shots into the distance.nnThe father cheers with every shot he takes, each time shouting: "Pull the trigger, pull it!"nnAfter the magazine has been emptied, his father takes back the gun and proudly says: "He is a true man, this should be a lesson to the ladies".nnAnother man, who is recording the scene, also compliments the boy on his shooting.nnAll the while this happened, a smaller boy, believed to be the child¿s younger brother, is running around playing, apparently blissfully unaware of the dangerous and potentially criminal situation unfolding.nnThe dad, apparently proud of his achievement, then shared the video on social media where it sparked a heated debate. Some users were angry, saying a child at that age should be nowhere near a firearm, while others saw it as character-building.nnThe man¿s full name was not disclosed in local media and there has been no report as to whether police are investigating.nn(ends)
